Strongest Waifus In Anime
For a long time most Shonen anime plots revolve around a young male character on his triumph to become the strongest and save the world.
Although, more often than not, they’re followed by a strong female lead. She usually brave, powerful and even more brave than her male counterpart.
At least in the beginning of the show…
This is done to make the lead character more relatable. I mean how many of us, if thrown into a world with monsters and death around every corner, wouldn’t be riddled with extreme fear? At least for a while.
Plus, its more entertaining to watch a character grow. You get to see the challenges they face, and all the human emotions they deal with. Fear, anxiety, hopelessness… and eventually… bravery and love.
It just makes for a better show.
A lot of the triumphs these character goes through is because of their friendship (and sometimes romantic relationship) with their female counterpart. The brave, strong and powerful female.
It’s no wonder why we as watchers also see these characters in a positive light. They’re cute, funny, trusting and of course… absolutely and totally BADASS.

So there you have it. This list wasn’t in any particular order from least strong to strongest. I just wanted to show you some of the most badass female characters in Anime.
The other thing to keep in mind is that some of these are strong in RESPECT to the universe they are in. For instance, someone with superpowers that can conjure fire from her hands, is probably going to beat a crazy girl with an dull axe.
But that’s not the point.
Each of these characters are insanely strong in their own way. Be it my sheer strength, magic ability or even personality.
All these waifus bring something to the table. And it’s important to see all the different ways in which anime bring these personalities to life.
