Top 6 Craziest Anime Girls - Yandere
Top 6 Crazy Anime Girls – Yandere
There’s no doubt that out of the anime girl types, the Yandere ones tend to be the most popular.
And what’s not to like?
They’re typically always drawn with cute features, and they’re complete psychopaths.
Don’t lie… That’s what you like.
That also seems to be the case in real life too. They’re not the type you wanna marry, but there’s definitely something about those crazy girls…
Perhaps it’s because it’s interesting and they keep you on your toes. I’m not really sure.
Or maybe it’s because there’s a little ‘crazy’ in all of us. And seeing that on the screen gives us something we all can relate to.
Anyway, all I know is that crazy anime b*tches are awesome. There’s something about that totally batshit crazy that makes them entertaining as shit to watch.
So let’s take a look at some of the best yandere girls in anime!
6. Misa Amane – Death Note
This was probably my first introduction to crazy chicks in anime. Firstly, she was cute and had that whole “goth” vibe which I’ve always loved. Especially back when I was a teenager.
Misa was also a user of the Death Note like Light was. Her obsession with him started because Light has killed the criminals that murdered her parents.
Actually seems pretty legit right? I could certainly relate to having a fond appreciation for the person who killed my parents killers.
But Misa takes it to a WHOLE ‘nother level.
Throughout the show she is willing to do ANYTHING Light wants her to do. Just to get a little appreciation from him.
Including cutting her own lifespan in HALF.
You see, the user of a death note is able to cut their own life in half to gain a special power.
This power allows them to see the name of any person by looking at them. As well as their remaining life span.
This was useful to Light. And Misa jumped at the opportunity in order to make him proud.
She was one of the first true nutjobs I can remember.
5. Elsa Granhiert – Re:Zero
If you’ve seen this anime, then you know this is one crazy assassin.
She appears in the first arc of the show when Subaru is looking for an amulet. Her first appearance (without knowing it was her) is a scene where both Emilia and Subaru are lying dead on the floor by a mysterious killer.
This scene was actually what got me hooked on the show. The utter torture and terror in Subaru’s voice as he dies in this new world, only to be resurrected moments later.
I was IN…
You find out that that this mysterious killer was Elsa. An assassin working for another organization.
She has those same “crazy eyes” as other wackjobs, but what really makes her nuts?
She loves seeing organs spilling out of people’s guts.
CONSTANTLY in the show she is trying to kill people by slicing open their stomachs so that she can play with their intestines.
It’s literally all she talks about.
Now don’t get me wrong. Killing people is what assassins do.
But loving the organs of her prey? That’s what earns her a spot on this list.
4. Kaede Fuyou- Shuffle
Kaede is your average kind and sweet girl. She’s very pleasant and can easily be thought to be a Dandere (shy girl) at first.
The issue?
She suffers from emotional trauma. Her mother died leaving her very alone.
In the show she has a childhood friend name Rin. They grow up together and Kaede is very attached.
Later on she gets pushed aside as Rin starts dating “Asa Shigure”.
She gets SO jealous that she attacks Asa and slams her into a wall, causing a heart attack and hospitalizing her.
Now I know that this may not seem as bad as wanting to see someone’s insides spill out. But the difference is that this isn’t a killer anime.
There are different kinds of Yandere. And in a “normal” world, someone slamming someone’s face into a wall over jealousy makes you a bit of a crazy person.
3. Satou – Happy Sugar Life
Now this is a fun.
In Happy Sugar Life , Satou lives with Shio Koube, a child who isn’t allowed to see the outdoors.
Satou just wants to live a happy life in her nice little bubble.
But she takes any means necessary to do so.
She uses manipulation, blackmail and even murder to get it.
At one point in the show she murders an artist, splatters his blood all over the walls, incinerates the body, and then takes over it for herself.
Now the strange part of this show though, is that “almost” everything Satou does is kind of… justified?
I don’t want to ruin anything if you haven’t seen it.. but I think that you will find a certain acceptance of her personality.
2 . Yuno Gasai – Future Diary
Probably the MOST Yandere of the Yandere.
Yuno is a total and complete psychopath who loves killing more than Mike Myers.
The anime itself is about a few individuals who receive a “Diary”.
Each one has a special power, like being able to see events before they happen, or locate a specific person at all times.
The diary holders are told they have to find and kill the others, with the winner becoming the God of Time.
Yuno’s special Diary allows her to see the main character at ALL times.
It turns out that she has been stalking him for years and is utterly obsessed with him.
This girl slaughters everyone who even KIND of gets in the way of her true love.
But in a way you can’t blame her.
You find out she had a terrible childhood. Her mother locked her in a cage for years and her father was also a real piece of shit.
At some point she gets out and murders her parents, then sticks them in the same cage.
Unable to deal with the Trauma she often pretends they’re still alive. Keeps the bodies in there, rotting away, years after they die.
1. Himiko Toga – My Hero Academia
Toga is the ‘new age yandere’, as I like to call it.
My Hero Academia (MHA) has gained incredible popularity since it’s release. And rightfully so.
It’s an incredible anime following young heroes with superpowers as they go to school and learn to save the world.
Toga is one of the villains in the show.
She’s about the same age as the rest of the main characters, and a real looney bin.
She loves killing with knives so she can get up close and personal with her victims.
She often says in the show that she wants to become the people she kills. Kind of giving the impression of someone that wants to slice open the face of her victim and wear it like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre guy.
Which by the way, is based on a real serial killer named Ed Gene if you’re interested.
